Erik “Legendary” Heath was born October 15, 1990 in Baltimore MD.

Legendary grew up around Edmondson Ave. A street notorious for drugs and gang violence.

He fell into the temptation the streets brought, but decided that going to college was more important.

Legendary’s lyrics are gritty because of his street ties, but his college education gives a poetic and intellectual influence on his music that appeals to all listeners.

Legendary – Abandoned Me

He grew up listening to Cassidy, Fabolous, Scarface, Method Man, NAS, and of course Sisqo & Dru Hill. You can almost hear it in the music.

Legendary conveys the same lyricism that these artists used to dominate the rap game in the 90’s/00’s but with modern production and limited resources as an independent artist.

Legendary was invited to the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards the year he decided to start rapping. That’s not the amazing part! He had NO industry connections whatsoever. NO knowledge of recording or promotion. NO mixtape or single out. Only his street ties.
