Deon Gladney was born in Lansing, Michigan where music engaged him early on from youth. Developing his voice in the choirs of his grandfather’s church gave him a “well-seasoned” sound. A creative writing class opened the door of expressive thoughts which was the beginning of his craftsmanship writing songs of a diverse repertoire of musical genres.
His self-taught ability to play piano, drums, lead and bass guitars, compliment his extraordinary sultry and exceptional vocal range, making him an artist with legendary comparisons.
His stage presence and appeal has been on display as an opening act for musical giants such as Aretha Franklin, Alexander O’Neal, R.Kelly, Outkast, The Dramatics, Naughty By Nature, Eric Benet, Lakeside and many more, headlining many contemporary gospel events as well.
